While taking part in the deliberations on the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Oli, the Nepali Congress lawmaker criticised Oli and the coalition government. Singh referred to “some doctors” who, he said, concluded that the Prime Minister was taking some medicines that have affected his mental health.

After that, CPN-UML lawmaker Krishna Bhakta Pokharel interrupted Singh and objected to his remark. Pokharel claimed Singh’s words against the Prime Minister were indecent and against the Parliamentary dignity

As Singh tried to justify himself, other UML lawmakers backed Pokharel. Speaker Gharti asked the protesters to sit down.
